RIYADH, 6 January 2008 — Over 200 projects prepared by the students were displayed at the science, culture, art and craft exhibition organized by the Bangladesh International School (English Section), Riyadh, Thursday.
The two-day exhibition was inaugurated by Moid Al-Qahtani, , supervisor general of Foreign Schools at the Ministry of Education. M. Wahidur Rahman, deputy chief of mission at Bangladesh Embassy along with members of the school board of management were also present.
Inaugurating the exhibition, Al-Qahtani commended the excellent show displayed by the students in cooperation with their teachers.
“These efforts enable students to learn group activities and help them identify their skills that could be developed for the betterment of their future,” Al-Qahtani said. He added that the students from the primary section have come out with commendable exhibits that speak for their hard work and initiative of the teachers.
School Principal M.S.M. Hussein said that this is an annual event which generates interest in all students hailing from upper kindergarten to advanced level classes.
