RIYADH, 25 January 2008 — The Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh and the consulate in Jeddah will stop issuing manual/handwritten passports with effect from 2010. “Only computerized passports will be issued from 2010 for which computerized national identity cards are compulsory,” a consulate statement said yesterday.
