DAMMAM — The importance and development of human resource in a business organization will be discussed in a conference being organized in Dammam, under the aegis of Prince Muhammad ibn Fahd, governor of Eastern Province. The 7th HRD Conference 2008 will be held on May 17-19 at Asharqia Chamber, Dammam-Alkhobar Highway.
The conference is being organized by Asharqia Chamber, Saudi Electricity Company and Arabian Society for Human Resource Management. Leading speakers from the Kingdom and abroad will address the conference, which will discuss transforming HR for a partnership with the business units; the role of HR in managing corporate change; leader’s role in fostering a productive and motivating working environment; defining HR competencies and evolving HR function; measuring the effectiveness of HR; and building a future generation of leaders.
