JEDDAH — Magrabi Hospitals and Centers are expanding operations all over the Kingdom with an investment of SR800 million, an official said.
During the opening of a new branch in Jeddah, Mutasim Alireza, managing director of Magrabi Hospitals and Centers said, “This new branch is considered a new step toward expanding our presence in Jeddah and all over the Kingdom. We are expecting to open one of the largest medical centers in the region in Riyadh; it will be called Al-Magrabi Specialist Hospital.”
He also said that as part of the expansion plan, Al-Magrabi will also open a Magrabi Hospital in Dubai Medical City and other hospitals in Yemen, Sudan and Egypt. “These new hospitals and centers will be able to diagnose some 500,000 cases, perform 50,000 eye operations and create 1,000 jobs every year,” he said.
Alireza noted that Magrabi has more than 22 hospitals and centers all over the Kingdom and neighboring countries which aim to improve the group’s corporate image and to retain members of the medical profession in the region.
