JEDDAH, 7 March 2008 — The stage is set for the Middle East Education & Training Exhibition & Symposium (MEETES) at the Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center from March 10 to 13.
The meetes ‘08 is Saudi Arabia’s 13th international event for education, training, human resources, equipment, aids and services.
Claimed to be a popular event among the students and parents, meetes features exhibitors from around the globe with a range of exhibits covering distance learning, universities, polytechnics, private schools, language schools and centers, audiovisual and computer training and software, vocational education and training, educational equipment and supplies, textbooks and curricula, educational furniture and systems.
Major groups from Malaysia, the UK, Cyprus and Canada and individual participants from Australia, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany and the Arab world are taking part in the show alongside the Kingdom’s official organizations and educational institutions.
A high profile parallel symposium is also scheduled, like in the previous years, featuring prominent speakers addressing topical education and career issues.
“The meetes is the first of eight major international trade exhibitions being organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions Ltd. (ACE) in 2008,” Zahoor Siddique, exhibitions director at ACE told the media yesterday.
The year also marks the 30th anniversary of ACE, Saudi Arabia’s leading event organizer. ACE is the first to own dedicated exhibition venues and organize international trade shows in the Kingdom. ACE has, over the past 30 years, staged in excess of 450 successful exhibitions in Jeddah across a wide range of industry sectors.
