RIYADH, 12 March 2008 — Music and fashion lovers are invited to a free concert and extravaganza dubbed “Pasiklaban 2008 Sa Riyadh” at the Philippine Embassy tomorrow and on Friday.
Timed with the grand launching of Smart Pinoy and Pinoy Plus, Orbits’ offering for Filipinos in the Middle East, the two-night show features acoustics king Nyoy Volante and surprise GMA-7 talents, according to the Fesscor Talent Center Performing Arts Group.
The show will also feature selected Fesscor talents from the Central, Western, and Eastern regions of the Kingdom.
Ambassador Antonio P. Villamor with the Cultural Attaché Rose Malicsi has been invited to grace the occasion, said Fesscor in a press statement.
“We are passionate about delivering the highest form of entertainment to the most discerning audience‚“ said Art Capulong, founding chairman of the group.
Jose Concepcion, the group’s production manager, said the show will be hosted by Jennifer Veneracion, Henry Endradora, Lally Manaloto, and Erwin Reyes. Two live bands, Rithmo and EXYZ will showcase various hits and most requested songs under the musical directions of Raffy Clemente and Jennifer Veneracion.
