ALKHOBAR, 12 March 2008 — Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons (Alturki Group), a major industrial conglomerate in Saudi Arabia, has begun development of an 8,600-square-meter project in Alkhobar that will be centered by “The Tower,” a 14-storey, 31,000-square-meter office building that will include office space, auditoriums, a gymnasium, restaurants, prayer space and a 370-car underground parking space.
“The Lofts,” 10 three-storey office buildings with 345-square-meter office spaces, will surround The Tower. “We aspire to position the park as the premier center for dynamic businesses in Eastern Province,” said Rami Khalid Alturki, head of Alturki Group.
Tariq Hajj, principal of Tariq Hajj Architects and project designer in association with PEI partnership architects from New York, said the interior design of the buildings allows tenants to custom-design their own office space.
The site will also house the new headquarters for Khalid Ali Alturki & Sons.
