RIYADH, 23 March 2008 — Saudi Telecom launched yesterday a “new and exceptional discount” campaign on the Saudi Net prepaid Internet card services.

Subscribers will benefit from an easy and fast Internet browsing and user friendly services for only SR19 per month with a speed of 128 Kbps, which makes the price the “lowest in the Kingdom.”

Saad Dhafer Al-Qahtani, vice president, home services at STC, said the new discount on the Saudi Net cards exceeded 76 percent, which lowered the costs of the Afaq DSL service. He also claimed that Saudi Net’s new prices were affordable to all customers whereby the price of the 128 Kbps speed would be SR19 per month, confirming once again that STC is committed to offering the best services in terms of quality and price.

“The 256 Kbps speed’s new price will be SR49 per month -- the 512 Kbps will cost SR79 per month, the 1 Mbps SR144 per month, the 2 Mbps SR279 per month. The discounts also reach the 4,8 and 10 Mbps speeds which makes it the cheapest in the entire region” Al Qahtani Added.

“All customers can benefit from the new promotion and get their new Saudi Net prepaid card via sending a small SMS to 907 with the code 9933, or through visiting certified dealers across the Kingdom,” he said, adding that Al-Rajhi customers can also benefit from this offer by visiting the bank website (www.alrajhibank.com.sa). This promotion also coincides with the recently launched Afaq DSL Shamel Services that reached almost 40 percent.
