MAKKAH, 6 April 2008 — An Asian national, who was found guilty of stealing copper cable from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), has been ordered by the General Court here to be deported out.

Police, who were informed of the theft from a construction site by the SEC, arrested three men — two Saudis and the Asian man. All three admitted their involvement in the theft.

The court sent the two Saudis to jail and issued a deportation order against the Asian.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani national was deported after being found in possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs.
