RIYADH, 17 April 2008 — The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), a non-profit trade and investment promotion organization, will lead a delegation to visit Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates later this month,
“The delegation comprising 18 Taiwanese companies will participate in GITEX Saudi Arabia 2008 at the Riyadh Exhibition Center on April 20-24. Five of these companies will proceed to the UAE on a pre-arranged meeting with Dubai counterparts on April 27,” said Fareed Jieh-Shan Hwang, press counselor at the Taipei Representative Office.
He said the visit would provide Saudi companies the unique opportunity of meeting the Taiwanese delegates in person.
