RIYADH, 27 April 2008 — Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG), yesterday signed an agreement with Dr. Ali Al-Ghafees, governor of the Technical & Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), to promote cooperation in training Saudi youth in applied media.
Prince Faisal, who is chairman of the Prince Ahmed bin Salman Institute for Applied Media, said the agreement would help meet national manpower requirements of media organizations in the Kingdom. He thanked TVTC for taking this initiative. He emphasized the role of Prince Ahmed bin Salman Institute in training Saudi media persons.“Our institute provides technical and scientific training at levels required by the media industry,” he added.
Al-Ghafees spoke on the need to train Saudis in applied media, adding that it would help them meet labor market requirements. He praised the institute’s contributions to the media, journalism, public relations, advertising and printing sectors.
