JEDDAH, 28 May 2008 — A series of Islamic lectures focusing on 10 heaven-bound Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will be held last Wednesday of every month including today at 9.30 p.m. in a venue near the Istiqdam Office in Azizia. The lectures are being delivered by Abdul Sattar Khan, a well-known journalist and researcher.
"The manner in which the 10 heaven-bound companions went forward with the Islamic movement, the scarifies they made in support of the Prophet, and the enthusiasm they showed in spreading the message of Islam will certainly inspire Muslims all over the world," said Abdul Mateen Osmani, one of the organizers.
