ABHA, 10 June 2008 — A young Saudi was shot dead in front of his house by unidentified gunmen in Hazna town near Baljurshi in the southern province of Al-Baha in the predawn hours yesterday.
Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, 21, was found dead by his father Ali Al-Ghamdi when he went out to the front gate at around 4 a.m. yesterday, police spokesman in Al-Baha Maj. Saad Saleh told Arab News.
He added that several people including the father were detained for interrogation. “I found my son lying on the ground with wounds on his left hand and stomach. Before I could offer any help or call a rescue team he died,” Al-Ghamdi told the police.
