MADINAH: Officials at the traffic department in Madinah have refused, because of an unpaid traffic fine, to renew the driving license of a 70-year-old lifetime Madinah resident, the Okaz daily reported yesterday. The fine was issued in Dammam, a city the old man says he has never visited. Col. Saud Al-Muhammadi, the deputy director of the Madinah traffic department, has advised the man to appeal to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal in order to prove that he has nothing to do with this violation so his license can be renewed.
