Some wedding hosts prefer to use beef for the occasion. According to a report in yesterday’s Al-Watan daily, a groom in this western Saudi city decided to purchase three cattle to slaughter for his wedding fest feast, but the cows had other plans: Namely, they fled ... into traffic. Fortunately, a number of traffic police officers were nearby and — seeing that they weren’t going anywhere until the animals stopped blocking cars — got out to help the groom herd his tasty animals back to their fate.
