TAIF: A man filed a lawsuit in a court in this southwestern Saudi city, but the judge in the case refused to continue unless the man removed his long mustache. According to a report in yesterday’s Al-Riyadh daily newspaper, the judge ordered the plaintiff out of his courtroom until he trimmed his mustache. The man left but returned later with the offensive facial hair still intact. Angered by the insubordination, the judge refused to hear the case. The hearing has been indefinitely postponed. The plaintiff has filed a complaint with the Ministry of Justice because he’s very proud of his mustache.
