JEDDAH: The Consulate General of Pakistan is organizing a cultural show to celebrate the 62nd Independence Day of the country today. A flag-hoisting ceremony will be held at the residence of Consul General Zaigham Uddin Azam. A musical event will take place at Pakistan International School (English Section). Famous Pakistani singers, including Saleem Javed, Hasan Jehangir and musician Hassan Sajan, will perform. A documentary on the history of the Pakistan movement and father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah will be shown to highlight the importance of the country’s history. National songs and tableaux will also be presented. Admission is open to the public and entry cards are available at the consulate.
