DAMMAM: A young soldier was shot dead by another soldier following a dispute between them at the King Khaled Military Base in Hafr Al-Baten yesterday, said Col. Yusuf Al-Qahtani, spokesman for police in the Eastern Province.
The suspect, a military driver, was arrested and is currently being investigated.
A revolver, which is thought to have been used in the crime, was found in the man’s possession.
Al-Qahtani said the soldier, who was wounded on his left shoulder, died in a hospital at the military base.
