JEDDAH: The first charitable vocational training association was launched yesterday at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). The new body aims at training low-income citizens and providing them with business support throughout the Kingdom.
Ahmad Hashim, who was appointed president of the association, said that the project aims at eradicating unemployment by training low-income citizens and helping them establish small projects that would help them sustain reasonable living standards.
He said that the association would provide training courses for the targeted groups to develop their skills in addition to providing them loans to help establish small projects.
