RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered that the allocation of cash assistance to help disabled people in the Kingdom be doubled. “King Abdullah issued a decree increasing the monetary grants to all categories of disabled people registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs from SR1.04 billion to SR2.08 billion,” according to a statement of Minister of Social Affairs Yousuf Al-Othaimeen, quoted by the Saudi Press Agency.
