RIYADH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation, received Naim Ternava, president of Islamic Union of Kosovo, and Mufti of Kosovo who was accompanied by his adviser Basem Muhamadi at his office in Riyadh.
Ternava's visit was part of a trip to Saudi Arabia to explore potential partnership opportunities between Saudi Arabia and Kosovo as the Muslim population in Kosovo is 95 percent. The two also discussed the current global economic situation, in addition to the philanthropic issues including the establishment of a college for Arabic and Islamic studies in Kosovo, and Ternava requested support for this project.
