RIYADH: Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif received on Saturday members of the executive committee of the Charitable Society for the Care of Orphans (Insan) in the Riyadh province who congratulated him on his new appointment. The prince also received a group of orphans under the care of Insan.

Prince Naif, who was appointed second deputy premier last month, expressed his happiness at the meeting and thanked the visitors. The orphans presented Prince Naif with a picture of his previous meeting with a group of orphans from Insan.

“During the meeting, Prince Naif empathized with the children and inquired about their condition,” an official statement said.

Insan currently takes care of more than 30,000 Saudi orphans by extending support to their guardians. Last year the organization spent about SR118 million on orphans.
