Mobily unveils package for people with special needs

RIYADH: Mobily has launched a new package for those with special needs.

The prepaid package features many unique services that allow those with special needs to communicate easily and effortlessly through video and SMS.

Sold for SR75, the package contains SR75 in credit, plus 60 free video minutes a month and 60 free SMS monthly to other Mobily lines.

After the free minutes are used up, video calls to other Mobily lines will be charged at 80 hahalas per minute. SMS to Mobily lines will be at 10 halalas per message, or 25 halalas per message to other networks.

Voice calling is not available with this package. Validity of the free minutes is 120 days.

Yesterday, the Saudi Hearing Institute honored Mobily for taking the initiative to launch the package for those with impaired hearing. Ahmed Al-Yahya, a member of the institute’s board, handed over a shield to Humoud Al-Ghobaini, Mobily’s senior manager corporate communications at a special corner set for those with special needs at Mobily’s booth in Gitex.

Mobily launched the package out if its keenness to provide the best possible needs for those with special needs to communicate with their loved ones. Mobily enjoys the technology and infrastructure to make that possible with 3.5G and 3.75G in most of the Kingdom’s populated areas.
