JEDDAH: About 98.3 percent students passed in Open School examinations conducted by International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) for the academic year 2008-2009, Paul Joy, headmaster of the school, said.
“Marks memoranda of successful candidates have been dispatched to examination centers,” he told Arab News. Parents have been requested to collect the results of their wards from the coordinators of centers.
Examinations were conducted at 14 centers in Abha, Baha, Madinah, Makkah, Najran, Mohayel, Samita, Afif, Bisha, Qunfuda, Khamis Mushayt, Yanbu (Royal Commission), Yanbu (Associated Cement Company) and Laith. “Students from other cities and remote areas of the Kingdom appeared for the exam at Jeddah School,” Joy said.
About 600 students from LKG to Class VIII have been enrolled at IISJ Open School this year. Registrations for the academic year 2009-2010 will commence from May 20. Parents can log on to iisjed.com and download the prospectus and registration forms.
