Some entities and organizations with which we deal are always right. They sometimes even punish the person who has no choice but to submit to their rules, no matter how unjust they are. A person has no right to say anything and can only object after suffering the punishment.
Paradoxically, these entities and organizations cannot be penalized if they fail to provide us, the consumers, with proper service.
Electricity will be cut if we fail to pay the bills on time, regardless of our excuses but, at the same time, you cannot hold the electricity company responsible for repeated power cuts.
Saudi Arabian Airlines will impose a fine of almost a quarter the price of the ticket if you fail to travel on your confirmed booking, but you cannot get half a riyal from the national carrier for its delays and canceled flights.
Our commercial banks will quickly put your name on the black list if you disagree with them concerning the interest rate on your credit cards. The banks will deprive you of all benefits if you do not pay the interest.
You may remain on the black list forever because you simply do not know how to get off it.
You were put on the black list without anybody explaining anything to you. Where is protection for the consumer and his or her human rights in all this?
