STOCKHOLM: Police in Sweden say they have arrested a man who tried to start a fire at the entrance to the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Stockholm.
Police spokesman Tore Loftheim says the man had put a car on fire outside the embassy and was pouring flammable liquid on the embassy door when he was captured by security guards.
He was arrested on suspicion of attempted grave arson. No one was injured in the attack and the embassy stayed open. Loftheim declined to give more information about the man yesterday.
