JEDDAH: A private hospital has been fined SR100,000 for the death of a child due to a mistake by one of its staff. The Legal Health Committee in Makkah province, which imposed the fine, asked the hospital to pay the amount to the child’s family. The Commission for Investigation and Public Prosecution will open the file for public rights in the case within a few days.
