He said the victims, identified as Aliodin Manalo Rasban and Kaharo Rasban Pascual, were abducted with two companions Wednesday.

The fate of other hostages was not yet known.

Gaslatan said the kidnappers were believed to be members of a group involved in a feud with the families of the victims.
