- JEDDAH: If you want to catch some high-falling stunts, you have until Thursday when stunt parachutists end their weeklong performance off Jeddah’s Corniche.
The fun was organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) in collaboration with the Saudi Aviation Club and the Arab Federation of Sports. Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal sponsored the event.
The event marks the safe return of Crown Prince Sultan, the deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, from an extended journey abroad for medical treatment.
“The event titled ‘Championship of Loyalty to Prince Sultan” was also meant to attract more local and foreign tourists to the city of Jeddah,” said SCTA Director for Makkah province Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Omari.
