- RIYADH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiques will hand over Sunday a collection of Egyptian artifacts that were confiscated from a man who had smuggled them into the country to sell.
The handing over ceremony will take place at King Abdul Aziz Historical Center in Riyadh. Ali Al-Ghabban, deputy director of antiquities at SCTA, said the handing over antiques comes within the framework of an agreement on protecting cultural artifacts. The artifacts were described as statuettes.
