- JEDDAH: An informed source told Arab News on Saturday the Technical and Finance Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will discuss linking the GCC railway with Yemen at a meeting at the committee’s headquarters in Riyadh in the coming days.
The committee will also discuss engineering designs and the formation of a GCC railway authority.
The committee is also scheduled to look into the action plan and time schedule to complete the studies and then present it to other GCC committees.
