- MANILA: A military spokesman says two Philippine air force pilots have been killed when their light attack aircraft crashed north of Manila during an aerial gunnery training.
Lt. Col. Romeo Brawner said a search and rescue team has retrieved the bodies of the two pilots who died when their OV-10 aircraft crashed Wednesday in northern Tarlac province's Crow Valley, a bombing and gunnery field formerly run by the US military.
Brawner says an investigation will be conducted.
Last month, a decades-old twin-prop Nomad aircraft crashed, killing an air force general and eight other people in southern Cotabato city.
