Capt. Abdullah Al-Amri, spokesman for the Civil Defense, said a 50-year-old man died in a blaze in Aziziya.

Two Pakistani women survived with burns on their faces, hands and legs as the fire broke out in their bedroom.

Three teams of Civil Defense personnel were involved in putting out the fire.

The second fire occurred at a two-story old building in Kilo 11 on Old Makkah Road, which resulted in four women falling unconscious after inhaling smoke. They were rescued and taken to hospital.

Al-Amri added that 10 firefighting teams took part in fighting a massive fire that gutted three warehouses belonging to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Some of the contents at the warehouses were flammable.
