Five more people injured in the accident late Thursday in Iguig town in Cagayan province, 410 kilometers north of Manila, according to Chief Superintendent Roberto Damian. Damian said one of the injured passengers was in critical condition and being treated at a nearby hospital. According to initial investigation the car swerved to the opposite lane to evade a damaged portion of the highway and collided head-on with the approaching minibus.
