Commander of the border guards in Najran, Brig. Abdul Rahman Al-Shahri, said radars tracked five people walking toward the border in a desolate area known as Shaab Madar. When authorities moved in to stop them, they dropped the bags containing hashish and fled. The men escaped but the drugs were confiscated.
