- JEDDAH: When Ahmad Farsan suffered fractures and a damaged car after slamming into an electrical post after swerving to avoid one of Jeddah’s notorious suspension-shredding potholes he thought the worst was over.
He survived the collision. He could move on with his life. So he thought until the local police informed him that he would have to pay for the damages to the electrical post, according to a report in Saturday’s Al-Madinah newspaper. Well, OK, but perhaps the municipality could pay to fill the pothole that caused the accident in the first place? Just asking!
