- JEDDAH: The Jeddah chapter of the Indian Engineers Forum (IEF) has decided to adopt renewable energy as its theme for the organization’s annual meeting at the Marriot Hotel on April 1, as the city’s interest in the environment continues to grow.
This will be the third environment-related event in the city in less than a month. The government-sponsored Gulf Environment Forum earlier this month attracted global experts, while the Indian Youth Welfare Association held a well-attended seminar on green engineering for a sustainable environment.
The IEF event will see experts from all over the Kingdom deliberating on various aspects of sustainability and conservation.
