The 100-meter high steel pole of the flag was gifted to Prince Salman by Bahrain's Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.

The pole has a diameter of two meters at the bottom and 60 cm on top while the flag has a length of 30 meters and width of 18 meters.
