AL-AHSA: A drunken Saudi man attacked his parents inside their bedroom while they slept, leaving them injured. The mother was taken to hospital where she initially denied her son had attacked her, fearing he may be punished. The father, however, reported the incident to police, but later withdrew the complaint after feeling sorry for his son.
