JEDDAH: Pakistan Navy vessels, PNS Tariq, PNS Bahr-e-Paima and PNS/M Hashmat, which are on a good will-cum-training cruise, will dock at the Jeddah Islamic Port from March 21-25. The ships will hold a Naval exercise with Royal Saudi Naval ships on March 25. The ships will be open to visitors from March 21-24 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
JEDDAH: KTT Education Society will organize its 10th annual Mushaira at the International Indian School-Jeddah’s Boys Auditorium on March 25. Poet Faiz Al Abideen will be the chief guest. Kaleem Aijaz, Munnawar Rana, Nawaz Deobandi, Manzar Bhopali, Iftekhar Raghib, Ana Dahlawi, Isha Naaz, Abbas Dana, Yousuf Azmi, Sabeeh Uddin Zafar, Masroor Abidi, Sultan Shuttari and Jagthiyali will be among the poets presenting their poems at the event.
JEDDAH: The Indian Cultural Society-Jeddah (ICSJ), which collected over 15,000 used textbooks last year for distribution among needy students of the school, has launched a similar campaign this year. Students are asked to deposit their used textbooks at certain designated locations in and around Jeddah for the benefit of needy students of IISJ. The locations include Shadab Restaurant, Mubarak Store, Hyderabad Sweets, Healthy Food, Anmol Restaurant, Azizia Stores, Naseem Polyclinic, Adaab Restaurant, Zamzam Minimarket and Farasha Restaurant.
