Cleveland held a double-digit lead most of the game, although the Pistons cut it to 55-47 on a basket by Jonas Jerebko with 10 minutes left in the third quarter. Hickson and Parker took charge, combining to score 16 of Cleveland’s next 19 points while Detroit went more than five minutes without a field goal.

Hickson finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, Parker had 11 points and LeBron James had 15 points and seven assists while sitting out the fourth quarter.

Jason Maxiell had 16 points for Detroit.

Hawks 119  Spurs 114, OT: In Atlanta, Marvin Williams scored 26 points and Atlanta clinched a playoff spot, beating San Antonio for the first time in five years.

Joe Johnson’s jumper with 1:21 remaining in overtime gave Atlanta a 113-111 lead. After a missed 3-pointer by San Antonio’s Matt Bonner, Al Horford hit a jumper as the shot clock expired to push the lead to four points with 35 seconds remaining.

Horford had 22 points and 18 rebounds, and Johnson had 20 points and 13 assists.

Manu Ginobili matched his season high with 38 points for San Antonio, and Tim Duncan had 29 points and 13 rebounds.

Lakers 99  Wizards 92: In Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant scored 20 of his 24 points in the second quarter, and Los Angeles sent Washington to its 11th straight loss.

Pau Gasol had 28 points and 12 rebounds for the Lakers, who won their sixth straight after a three-game skid. Al Thornton had 18 points, and Andray Blatche added 16 points and 12 rebounds for Washington.

Suns 93  Trail Blazers 87: In Phoenix, Jared Dudley scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter, and Grant Hill hit two key baskets in Phoenix’s fourth straight win.

The loss ended Portland’s five-game winning streak and was only the Trail Blazers’ second defeat in nine games. It left them in eighth place in the Western Conference.

Amare Stoudemire led the Suns with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Steve Nashhad 17 points and eight assists, Jason Richardson scored 16 points, and Hill finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Royled Portland with 23 points.

Rockets 116 Knicks 112: In New York, Aaron Brooks scored seven straight points down the stretch and Houston got strong efforts from the players it got for Tracy McGrady to beat New York.

Kevin Martin, acquired by the Rockets from Sacramento in the three-team deal that sent McGrady to New York, led Houston with 28 points. Rookie Jordan Hilland Jared Jeffries, who went from the Knicks to the Rockets, played key roles down the stretch because of injuries and illnesses to Houston’s frontcourt. Hill finished with a season-high 13 points, while Jeffries took a pair of charges in the final quarter.

McGrady finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

David Lee had 27 points and 20 rebounds for the Knicks.

Pacers 121  Thunder 101: In Indianapolis, Danny Granger scored 32 points, Troy Murphyhad 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Roy Hibbert added 20 points and eight rebounds for Indiana.

Jeff Green led Oklahoma City with 20 points. Kevin Durant, the league’s No. 2 scorer, finished with 16 points on 4-for-16 shooting.

Kings 102 Clippers 89: In Los Angeles, Carl Landry scored 24 points, and Beno Udrih had 20 points and a career-high 17 assists for short-handed Sacramento.

Tyreke Evans, the Kings’ rookie point guard and leading scorer, missed his sixth game of the season because of a mild concussion, a bruised jaw, lacerated gums and chipped teeth. Eric Gordon had 23 points for Los Angeles.
