TAIF: A Saudi human trafficker was shot and injured while fleeing police, a local newspaper reported. The man, who was carrying six illegal passengers in his pickup truck, on the Truba-Taif highway refused to stop when asked by police. He then smashed through a police barrier and took a dirt road to circumvent a second barrier. The man finally stopped when police fired gunshots injuring him. The man was taken to hospital for treatment and then to a police station for questioning.
