MADINAH: A knife-wielding parent of a girl at P.S. 122 in Madinah assaulted a school principal on Monday.
The man was reportedly furious at the principal because she punished his daughter for misbehaving, Al-Watan newspaper reported on Thursday. A police source said a woman teacher opened the gate for the man when he demanded to meet the principal. Before proceeding to the principal’s office he attacked the teacher who admitted him into the school. After arresting him, police sent the man to a mental hospital for further examination.
