DAMMAM: The Civil Defense in Dammam rescued 22 men, women and children to safety from an apartment fire late Friday. According to a report in Al-Watan newspaper, the people were stuck on the roof of the building. Civil Defense used ladders to rescue the stranded family members. One infant suffered from smoke inhalation and was rushed to the hospital where the baby is expected to survive.
