Hussein Al-A'raj, the Governor of Hebron, told Arab News that the Israeli soldiers handed the demolition orders to Yousef Ismail Al-Najjar, Izzat Jibrail Al-Najjar, Mohammed Mousa Al-Najjar, Hatim Mousa Jabbarin and Ishaq Jibrail.

Al-A'raj added that the Israeli forces ordered the owners to leave their homes in Yatta area, to the south of Hebron, "as soon as possible since they are living in these homes without a legal permission from Israeli authorities."

He added that the Israeli authorities aim at evicting the Palestinian families from their lands "to confiscate them and annex them to nearby settlements of Susia and Ma'on."

Meanwhile, several Palestinians and leftists were injured when Israeli forces used force to disperse anti-separation rallies in the West Bank villages of Ni'lin, Bil'in, Al-Mi'sarah and Al-Nabi Saleh.

Palestinian medical sources in the Ramallah governmental hospital told Arab News that Imad Rizqah, a Palestinian from Yaffa (Jaffa) city inside Israel, was seriously injured in the head from a teargas grenade fired by Israeli soldiers during a clash in Bil'in.

The sources said that Palestinian paramedics were "trying to safe Rizqah's life and efforts were being made with Israeli authorities to have him transferred to Jerusalem for treatment."

Palestinian sources said that hundreds of left-wing Israeli, Palestinian and foreign activists were protesting against the separation wall being built in these areas.

The sources added that dozens of activists suffered from gas inhalation when Israeli forces used rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse the protesters in these areas.

The developments in West Bank came as the US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell is in the region to hold talks with Israeli and Palestinian officials in hopes of restarting the peace negotiations.
