A total of 345 people have been asked to visit the committee at Abruq Al-Righama Theater on Tuesday to collect their compensation checks. This is the fourth round of compensation.

People who lost homes and suffered damage to their properties were handed compensation in previous rounds. The value of flood damaged cars and vehicles had been estimated by a separate committee. The Compensation Committee is also to receive a fifth batch of 295 people on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Finance said no money would be given to people who come without proper ID documents.

“Out of the 10,091 checks that are ready to be handed to people, only 8,875 have been handed out. There were also 3,346 temporary ownership documents issued by the General Court in Jeddah and handed to the committee,” said Maj. Ahmad Al-Harbi from the Civil Defense.
