A source close to Muhammad, who is working as a religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in the Kenyan capital, told Arab News that four gunmen attacked the diplomat at his home.

The source added that the diplomat’s condition was critical. The Saudi Foreign Ministry did not comment on the shooting when this report went to press.
