- JEDDAH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) recently conducted a workshop to discuss effective ways to develop Red Sea beachfront assets in different governorates, including Qunfuda, Lith and Rabigh.
Many government departments, including the Makkah provincial governor's office, the Jeddah Municipality, the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, participated in the workshop.
The workshop aimed at the developing the coastal region to attract tourism.
Qunfuda Mayor Ali Al-Ghamdi said he would shortly announce the plans laid down in collaboration with the SCTA to develop tourist attractions in his region with the participation of the private investors.
