- RIYADH: Works by famous Pakistani painter Dr.
- Asma Tarik were displayed at a solo three-day exhibition at the Riyadh Care Hospital Compound here recently.
“The paintings on display have been made brilliantly by using water colors, oils, acrylics, pastels and graphic design,” said Asma, who is well-versed in using diverse medium for her works.
Dr. Asma, who is from Lahore, has been “largely inspired by nature.” She said that she chose oil and water colors as a medium to express herself.
“Painting is a hobby but I am passionate about it and believe that I have it in my genes as a proud legacy from my artistically inclined Pakistani ancestors," she said.
Dr. Asma, who treats patients at Riyadh Care Hospital, said she carries her papers, brushes and paints whenever she travels. She said she plans to hold more exhibitions in Riyadh.
