“The show is Effat's contribution to Jeddah students who have hidden talents and it encourages them to expose their talents,” said Kholod Ashgar, director of student life section at Effat. “The event was a competition among talented students where at the end we presented gifts to the top five winners."

The top winner was Lorean, a student at Dar Al-Hekma, who played the piano. 

“We thought that this young lady played the piano beautifully and she might have a bright future,” said Enas Hashani, CEO of Rumman Company and one of judges. “There should be more talent shows like this. It is a great way for young Saudi women to spend their time."

The talent show was a nonstop stage performance in which the students sang, danced, acted, and played on instruments.

“Everything on stage felt like a live concert of undiscovered talents. They are full of joy and energy which made this event very exciting and alive,” said audience member Maha Saleh. Students from Effat, College of Business Administration and Dar Al-Hekma College were part of the show.

“What made this very special is that the show was open to all, everyone was welcome to perform and show off their talents. We sent invitations to students in other colleges to show our support to their gifts,” said Amal Al-Rifai, Effat’s  public relations manager.

The audience cheered and applauded as the participants preformed on stage.

“Time flew by and I didn’t feel it, the competitors has successfully made us occupied and entertained,” said audience member Shahla Abdulla.
